Chapter Three

By the time I had followed Vixen's orders, the camp was almost torn down. The final tents and supplies were being loaded into carts and horses were nervously pawing at the ground, ready to carry them away. I could feel the beast's anxiety and it matched my own.

"Zabi." Vixen called, capturing my attention. She was dressed in her full battle armor, with extra plates strapped over her most sensitive and vulnerable areas. In my eyes she looked every bit a war goddess as an Orc queen. "Lift your weapon. Show me what you learned."

My pussy clenched, remembering exactly that it had learned, but I lifted the dagger and thrust it out in front of me. It was still clumsy, but my control was getting better with every moment. I felt confident now that I would take off someone else's toe before my own, and that was a start.

"You are still holding back." She moved to stand beside me, showing me the stance I should be taking. "Like this, let it flow from your shoulder down and into your wrist."

I tried the motion again, this time feeling the weight move down my arm and the power of the thrust being cast out with the weapon.

"Good. Just like that. Again."

She had me repeat the exercise five more times before giving me a curt nod of approval. "Good. Here, for the dagger."

She handed a small belt sheath, perfectly fitted for the size of my human hips. I was starting to think that she must have had a leather smith hidden away in the camp, only working on items for me. I slid the dagger in, more convinced now than ever that it was actually a short sword, no matter what the Orcs said. The tip slid down all the way to my knees. "Thank you, Mistress."

She nodded and started to walk away, confident that I would follow. As I fell in line behind her, she spoke. "Your scholars would have you believe all battles are long, drawn out and bloody affairs. In truth, most battles are short and violent. Over within moments of them starting. You just need to know where and whom to strike. Without a leader, an army will fall. You are confident that the leaders of Trivale will be on the mountain?"

I nodded even though I was walking behind her and knew she couldn't see it. "Yes, Mistress."

"Then that is where I will go. No mages or guards will stand before me. The rest of the Orcs will scatter their forces at the base of the city while I take my fiercest warriors and head up to their gates. If I am successful, the battle will be over before it ever really begins."

"What about me?" I couldn't stop the words from spewing from my mouth, but she didn't seem to mind. I got the feeling that our walk through the remains of the camp was so that I could ask her anything now that she might not have time to explain later.
